Terms of Service
Last updated August 13, 2025
These terms govern access to and use of the Niridis platform by participating institutions and their authorized users. By accessing Niridis, your institution agrees to these terms and any applicable service agreement executed between your institution and Niridis.
Eligibility and accounts
Access to Niridis is provided to institutions — such as banks, fintechs, payment processors, marketplaces and insurers — that have entered into an agreement with Niridis, and to the individual users those institutions authorize. Institutions are responsible for the actions of their authorized users.
Permitted use of financial data
Financial data submitted to Niridis may be used only to provide fraud risk analysis, pattern and relationship detection, and related investigation support to the submitting institution and, where enabled, to the shared network layer described in our Privacy Policy.
You may not use Niridis to process data you are not authorized to share, or for purposes outside fraud risk analysis and investigation without our prior written agreement.
Cross-institution data sharing
Niridis enables institutions to contribute to and draw on shared risk signals under controls each institution configures. This is not a general grant of access to other institutions' data. Participation in cross-institution signal sharing is optional and governed by the authorization settings your institution applies.
AI-generated output
Niridis produces AI-assisted outputs, including risk signals, related-entity mappings, patterns and investigation context and reasoning summaries. These outputs are decision support, not a determination of fraud, and should be reviewed by a qualified investigator before any action is taken based on them.
We do not guarantee that any specific instance of fraud will be detected, and we make no representation regarding a specific detection or accuracy rate.
Security and your obligations
We maintain safeguards designed to protect data processed through Niridis, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your institution is responsible for safeguarding credentials, configuring access controls appropriately, and promptly reporting any suspected unauthorized access.
Service availability
We aim to provide reliable access to Niridis but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance and unplanned incidents may temporarily affect access; we will communicate material disruptions where reasonably practicable.
Limitations
Niridis is provided as an intelligence and decision-support tool. It does not replace an institution's own compliance, underwriting or fraud policies, and Niridis is not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of its output without appropriate institutional review.
To the extent permitted by law and the applicable service agreement, Niridis' liability arising from use of the platform is limited as set out in that agreement.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates these terms, applicable law, or poses a security risk to the network, consistent with the notice provisions in the applicable service agreement.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to institutional account contacts before taking effect.
